Alex is an experienced commercial litigation lawyer acting for a range of institutional clients, corporate clients, public bodies and various businesses.

He has handled a broad range of contentious commercial matters, and has built up particular expertise in the finance and insolvency sectors.

His commercial litigation experience includes contract disputes, negligent/fraudulent misrepresentation claims, breach of warranty actions, intellectual property and IT disputes, professional negligence, construction disputes, director disqualification, minority shareholder actions and partnership disputes.

Alex is fully familiar with all County Court, High Court mediation and arbitration procedures, and has handled matters in the Court of Appeal and the International Court of Arbitration. He has acted on a number of multi-jurisdictional disputes.

He has acted for a range of insolvency practitioners both locally and outside of Wales on both personal and corporate insolvency matters, and also has experience of acting in areas such as wrongful trading, preference actions and officer conduct.

He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and a member of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals. He is also actively involved with the Society of Turnaround Professionals.

Married with two children, Alex lives in the Vale of Glamorgan. His recretional interests include golf, cinema and travel.
