Jon is head of the firm's company and commercial Team. Specialising in company and commercial work throughout his career, Jon has handled a wide range of corporate and commercial/contractual transactions for clients in both the private and public sectors. His experience and expertise includes a very substantial number of company and business sales and acquisitions, management buy-outs, corporate re-organisations, refinancing and restructuring including the banking and security related issues, shareholder agreements and partnerships.

Jon also has vast experience in venture capital financing transactions, acting for equity funds providing seed and development capital predominantly for telecommunications technology companies and acting also for companies in all sectors raising equity finance.

Having led the buy-out from Bevan Ashford and the establishment of the new practice as MLM, Jon has the role of Managing Partner as well as his role as head of the firm's company and commercial team.

Mike's practice encompasses a wide range of company and commercial cases. He has fifteen years experience dealing with major company restructuring, variation of memorandum and articles of association and share holder agreements. He has regularly dealt with substantial mergers and acquisitions of companies and management buy outs. Mike also advises companies and lending institutions on corporate finance issues.

Mike is also a Notary Public. Documents prepared or authenticated by a Notary Public are recognised internationally and notorial work is therefore mainly concerned with legal documents to be used abroad. These include oaths and declarations, powers of attorney to buy and sell property, certificates as to the existence and good standing of U.K. companies and various shipping documents.

Aled practices in the area of media and entertainment law and advises broadcasters, numerous independent television production companies and senior industry executives. Aled also handles various corporate matters including drafting and negotiation of business sale and purchase agreements for small and large companies, shareholders agreements, corporate re-organisations, venture capital financing transactions as well as advising generally on company law and intellectual property rights issues and the drafting of documents required to protect such rights.

Mick assists and supports the partners in the department across the range of transactional and commercial services provided. His primary expertise is in commercial contractual matters and has extensive experience in the professional and technical services and charity sectors. Mick also has experience in commercial litigation, corporate and commercial disputes and insolvency matters.
