Elin joined MLM Cartwright in May 2008 as an Associate Solicitor to head up the firms' Private Client department, having previously undertaken a similar role with another high profile practice in South East Wales. Elin has over a decade's experience in this field, advising on wills, Inheritance Tax planning, the creation and administration of trusts, probate and intestacy work, the creation and management of attorneyships and in advising on matters involving the Court of Protection. Elin is a member of the Court of Protection's Panel of Deputies and an Associate Member of Solicitors for the Elderly and has considerable experience of presenting at seminars on Inheritance Tax planning and Wills. A fluent Welsh-speaker, Elin is presently undertaking the necessary exams to become a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Jo joined MLM CARTWRIGHT in 2005 where she successfully completed her training and qualified as a solicitor in 2008. She works in the Private Client department specialising in Wills and Probate. Jo advises clients on the administration of trusts and estates, all aspects of wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney. She also deals with Court of Protection work. Jo is a student member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners). Having lived and studied for a year in France, Jo is fluent in French, which has proved to be useful when dealing with clients and their foreign assets.
